First Follow Up

Saw my primary care doctor today.  I am healing up great.  The only spot he was concerned with was the drain location.  But he was please with the 9 lbs I lost since surgery day.  So that was a plus.  He seemed impressed at the lack of pain meds and said I should do great from here on out.  :-)

D-Day

So later today I will go in for my gastric sleevectomy.  I wish I could say that I was nervous, etc. since everyone seems to expect me to be, but I am just drained at this point.  All the drama at work and home is wearing me out to the point where I will do just about anything for a break, lol.  Plus, I have been focusing on losing the 10 pounds from the pre-surgical diet they have me on.  Which has been no fun at all. 

I have been assembling my paperwork and cleaning the house for the past week so I think I am pretty well prepared at this point.  My microwave decided to blow up this week (fun!) so I guess being on a yogurt and ice water diet couldn't have come at a better time, lol.

Anyway, heading out to pack up now.  Wish me luck :-)
